There is nothing more fulfilling in life than finding a compatible partner to share your journey. That is my core belief.

My background is in Psychology/Sociology. I hold a master’s degree in Social Work in Clinical Services to Individuals and Families and in Administration from Fordham University. In the past, I successfully worked as a top interviewer/consultant at a matchmaking service and loved it. I matched and introduced many successful long-term couples while working there. I have applied this skill to matching up friends of mine along the way who later married. I have returned in this capacity to assist others since there is an even greater need now more than ever for personalized matchmaking services.

People’s lives are so taken over with keeping up with ongoing technological advancements and increasing demands to excel in their respective fields. They don’t have the time to cruise through bars and internet sites to spend endless hours on hit-or-miss propositions.

This is why I created Greenwich Matchmaker. I will be your eyes and ears doing the searching and screening for your compatible partner while you are excelling at what you do best. I will be there as a guide and resource for you during the entire process, all of which is conducted in a confidential, discreet, professional manner.

On a Personal Level…

I have two daughters who I raised myself as a single parent. I know what it is like to balance dating with the demands of single parenting! Yes, I did it myself and understand the challenges. I have been a long-term resident of Greenwich–New Canaan, CT, for 31 years. I am very familiar with this geographic area and its residents. I grew up in Westchester County, NY, and went to school in Manhattan, NY, for both college and graduate school. In short, I am a lifetime resident of the NY–Connecticut area and can use this background to your advantage since this is my neck of the woods!

My interests include yoga (I’m in my 12th year!), working out, playing tennis, having an ongoing love affair with the outdoors, writing, gardening, walking, going to art galleries/openings, attending social events, and traveling. I am proud to say that I am a licensed FAA Private Pilot for single-engine airplanes, having earned my license at Sikorsky Memorial Airport in Connecticut. I have enjoyed flying to many exciting places in the New England area, including Block Island, Montauk, Westerly, and Newport, for an afternoon outing.

I encourage you to take up a pastime or pastimes that adds depth to your interests if you haven’t already. Indeed, this will make you stand out as an interesting person to meet and get to know in order to attract someone special. You want to set yourself apart from the crowd, and it makes for interesting conversation while on your initial dates. I have done volunteer work locally at Greenwich Public Schools, Greenwich Hospital, The Bruce Museum, Kids in Crisis, Christ Church, and Crisis Hotline. Volunteering is also a great way to spend the extra time you may have and adds depth to your profile both socially and professionally. It also is a way to give back to your community, and you will find it a rewarding, positive experience!

Why Did You Start Your Business?

I was a divorced single parent of two daughters living here in Greenwich, CT, finding it difficult to meet a great gentleman interested in a serious relationship. That being said, I used to type in “Greenwich Matchmaker” regularly on my computer keyboard, searching for a matchmaker who could help me out! There didn’t seem to be any matchmaker nearby in my immediate area. So, it began occurring to me that I could and should fill the role for my extended group of single friends who found themselves single in the same situation year after year and other single people, both gentlemen and ladies, in this geographic vicinity. I had worked in the past as a representative for a dating service called Turning Point International and had been quite successful at it. I am a master’s-level social worker (MSW) myself and felt this was an area that could benefit from my professional expertise. I started Greenwich Matchmaker in January 2012, which now successfully matches and introduces outstanding pre-screened single ladies and gentlemen to each other in the CT–NY area, all offline, confidentially, and on a personalized basis.

Finish This Sentence in Regard to Your Business: I Wish I Could…

I wish I could have more single gentlemen and ladies realize the outstanding benefits and edge available to you by having a matchmaker work for you on your behalf. With a matchmaker’s expertise, you will be meeting people you would never meet otherwise and who share similar interests, values, and goals in life. A matchmaker hand-selects introductions for you, having interviewed them in person ahead of time. Everyone is on a first-name basis in the beginning, so there’s no googling about the person online in advance of meeting them and arriving with preconceived notions to the date. It’s really like a friend introducing a friend as I know all the people I introduce to each other. It saves you lots of wasted time, spending hours “working” on your social life, which is exactly what one does without the assistance of a matchmaker. I have developed an extensive social network in the community that, on occasion, assists in the referral of people who may fit the bill for specific searches I am conducting. They are my assistant cupids, and it’s really the old-fashioned way, but it works, and it’s a beautiful thing!! Everyone knows someone single who would relish being successfully matched up with their lasting love and my networks, and I collaborate diligently to make that happen!

What Is Your Best-Selling Product/Service?

You know, a lot of people believe matchmaking is automatically out of their reach financially. However, they can apply to be in my GM Registry Database. Upon acceptance as a screened member, the GM Database Membership is included for 5 years for the cost of a one-hour in-person interview with me. I have both gentlemen’s and ladies’ GM Registry Databases since I work with both gentleman and lady clients. I go through my GM Registry/Databases primarily when working with a new client seeking the right fit. You can be in the GM Registry and suddenly be introduced to an international CEO, financier, supermodel, Hollywood actress, celebrity, doctor, attorney, politician, or professional athlete, and you’re suddenly falling in love since these are all active clients of mine! This can be and has been the opportunity of a lifetime for some lucky GM Registry/Database members who met their match from being available in the GM Database/Registry! So, my best-selling product/service is my Greenwich Matchmaker Database Registry Membership for Gentlemen and Ladies since it is within reach of most people, and they are getting an understanding of my matchmaking service in the event they transition to client in the future or get lucky and become a successful love match straight from the GM Registry/Database!
